Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out thorough examination of a wide range of mechanical equipment from 1000 Ton presses to guillotines and injection moulding machinery.
•Undertake a non-destructive training course, maintain competence and complete crack detection of press components.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and regulatory rules relating to Power Presses and associated equipment.
•Provide strong customer interaction and clear written communication, coordinating with clients and colleagues.
•Travel within the local allocated work area and support fellow Engineer Surveyors as required.

Key Requirements

•Background in Power Press and/or hazardous machinery maintenance; manufacturing, repair or maintenance of Power Presses, Brake Press, Injection Moulding Machines, Woodworking equipment, and related guards & protection devices.
•Up to date knowledge of compliance and regulatory rules and procedures related to Power Presses.
•Understanding of electrical control systems (advantageous) and ability to process documentation; strong customer interaction skills (oral and written).
•Willingness to learn, take on challenges, make informed decisions, and plan short/medium/long-term activities; able to travel within the local area.
•Ability to operate from home with regular travel to clients' sites; support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors as required.
