Job Summary

Own privacy program governance by bridging TikTok product teams with compliance, legal, and regulatory stakeholders. Translate complex privacy and digital regulations into actionable workflows, drive privacy control frameworks, and support external audit readiness through control walkthroughs and effectiveness testing. Lead end-to-end privacy projects, maintain program documentation and reporting, and develop training materials to strengthen organizational privacy awareness. Continuously update the program based on emerging privacy trends and regulations.

Job Function: Program & Project Management (PMO)

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the primary liaison between TikTok platform responsibility product teams and regulatory compliance/legal departments, translating regulatory requirements into operational workflows.
•Facilitate external audits by attending control design walkthroughs and tests of operating effectiveness, and maintain/enhance the privacy control framework.
•Lead privacy-related projects from conception to execution, creating project plans and coordinating technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Create and maintain program documentation, including process flows, policies, frameworks, and management reports.
•Develop and deliver internal training on privacy controls, certifications, and best practices to improve organizational awareness and compliance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Law, Business, or a related field.
•Proven experience conducting audits or facilitating external audits.
•3+ years in governance risk and compliance (GRC) or related privacy, compliance, and security experience.
•Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
•Experience with privacy concepts (e.g., data minimization, purpose limitation, data sovereignty, transparency, data retention) and privacy by design principles.
