Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead OSP due diligence across new deployments, including site assessment, provider qualification, and risk identification.
  • •Coordinate connectivity pathway requirements with Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil disciplines and serve as the inside authority for constraints and pathway planning.
  • •Own fiber distribution design and iterate based on deployment-specific factors such as scale, phasing, and site topology.
  • •Own conduit sizing decisions for fiber ingress, inter-datahall connections, and pathway type selection; oversee pre-cabled trunk sizing.
  • •Oversee cable tray loading and bonding/grounding coordination, manage pre-construction submittals, and support design implementation for planned high-capacity campus deployments.

Key Requirements

  • •BICSI RCDD certification plus ANSI and BICSI credentials.
  • •In-person experience leading complex OSP fiber projects from groundbreaking through acceptance, including multi-mile pathway construction and splice coordination.
  • •NEC fluency with TGB and TBB familiarity.
  • •TIA competency, including TIA-942, TIA-568, and ISO/IEC 11801 structured cabling.
  • •Ability to lead initiatives and people while coordinating with ICT product/design/installation partners and manufacturers when needed.
