Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to creating apparel designs and concepts for the Running/Training/Studio apparel design team, aligned to global brand and quality standards.
  • •Work with the apparel design, product development, and PLM teams to develop seasonal and carryover apparel ranges each year.
  • •Complete artwork pages, CADs, and tech packages accurately and on schedule based on the design calendar.
  • •Partner with developers and sourcing offices to understand product design, fit, function, and source base capabilities and limitations.
  • •Develop and present apparel/graphic design concept presentations, conduct competitor and trend research, and ensure alignment with seasonal color and performance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA or BFA degree preferred.
  • •2-4 years as an Apparel Designer, Apprentice or Assistant, preferably for a performance apparel company.
  • •Knowledge of the sports performance and/or sport lifestyle market (competition, distribution, price, retail environment).
  • •Strong line merchandising abilities and the ability to build balanced collections.
  • •Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and technical knowledge of fabrics, trims, and product development/quality requirements.
