Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the PCB lifecycle from schematic/stack-up architecture through high-yield production readiness.
  • •Act as technical authority and gatekeeper between hardware layout teams and manufacturing/fabrication partners.
  • •Partner with development engineers, commodity teams, and suppliers to deliver PCB solutions, qualify PCB suppliers, and support supplier selection.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of hands-on PCB design, layout, and fabrication management experience.
  • •Advanced ECAD proficiency with tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Siemens Xpedition, plus automated validation (e.g., Valor NPI).
  • •Deep knowledge of PCB fabrication processes (plating, etching, lamination, drilling aspect ratios) and material properties (laminates, resins, copper foils).
  • •Working knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-2221, IPC-6012, IPC-7351) and quality frameworks (DOE, DFMEA).
  • •Lead and mentor PCB layout teams; manage standardized design methods, library management, and component footprint guidelines.
