Job Summary

Serve as an integral member of Key’s Merchant Services sales teams within Consumer Business Banking, focusing on growing profitable merchant relationships. Prospect and win new merchant services business by matching payment solutions to business needs and presenting merchant payment processing (credit card, check processing, gift cards, ACH) plus related hardware and software. Identify additional banking needs, resolve client issues, and partner across KeyBank to achieve district/segment goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Acquire new merchant services relationships through prospecting and referrals within the assigned territory.
•Consult with prospective businesses to identify and sell payment processing solutions (credit card, check processing, gift cards, ACH) plus related hardware and software.
•Identify merchants’ other banking needs and work with KeyBank resources to deliver solutions.
•Prospect small and medium-sized businesses in the assigned region to supplement referrals.
•Resolve client issues and comply with KeyBank policies and procedures while acting professionally and ethically.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 48,000 - 72,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required).
•Minimum 1 year of payments-related experience in a banking environment (required).
•Minimum 1 year of success in a client-focused environment with aggressive growth and service goals (required).
•Strong financial acumen, including ability to read and understand financial statements.
•Exceptional negotiating and closing skills with strong communication abilities.
