Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver safe, progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England learn-to-swim framework.
  • •Maintain excellent customer service and engage swimmers of all ages and backgrounds.
  • •Participate in safeguarding requirements and DBS checks, and uphold centre safety standards.
  • •Utilise the in-house Aquatic Training Academy for ongoing CPD and career development.
  • •Contribute to the centre’s operational goals and potential progression into aquatics coordination or management.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (Previously ASA) Level 2.
  • •DBS check is required (will be provided by the employer).
  • •Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • •Willingness to work part-time hours with the shifts outlined (Mon & Tue – see description).
  • •Holding RLSS UK NPLQ, NRASTC or STA Safety Award would be advantageous but not essential; training can be provided.
