Job Summary

Design and own cloud-native, AI-based software solutions for industrial applications, from smart shopfloor to edge intelligence and resilient cloud platforms. Integrate with existing OT/IT landscapes and ensure alignment to industrial standards and security/regulatory requirements. Provide technical leadership to agile development teams, advise end-to-end delivery, and support pre-sales by shaping offers using dual-use and manufacturing-IT expertise.

Key Responsibilities

•Conceive, develop, and take responsibility for cloud-native and AI-based software solutions for industrial applications across smart shopfloor to edge intelligence and resilient cloud platforms.
•Ensure integration with existing OT/IT environments and compatibility with current standards and guidelines for industrial software.
•Provide technical ownership for (agile) development teams and advise customers on end-to-end delivery of complex software solutions across the full lifecycle.
•Actively support pre-sales and contribute your expertise in cloud, manufacturing-IT, and dual-use technologies to proposal processes.
•Share knowledge in technical communities and drive further development of cloud competence in the industrial domain.

Key Requirements

•Completed IT degree or comparable qualification with project experience in an industrial or dual-use-adjacent environment (e.g., production IT, smart factory, automation).
•Design scalable cloud and microservice architectures meeting data security, availability, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI, Industry 4.0).
•Strong knowledge of security-critical architectures and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, NIST) translated into production/logistics solutions.
•Experience with integration patterns for industrial systems such as MES/ERP connectivity, edge deployments, and hybrid platform architectures.
•Proficiency in DevSecOps and working with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, sovereign clouds), communicating confidently in German and English.
