Key Responsibilities

  • •Observe production machinery in operation, troubleshoot issues, and repair mechanical equipment to restore normal function.
  • •Dismantle machinery, remove defective parts, and repair or replace components using hand tools and power tools.
  • •Order and determine appropriate materials and parts for equipment and facility service/repair.
  • •Lubricate and clean machinery, maintain housekeeping, and follow all plant safety/accident prevention policies while wearing required PPE.
  • •Train current and new department members and learn new on-the-job skills as training opportunities become available.

Key Requirements

  • •Troubleshoot production machinery and mechanical equipment, determining causes of trouble and performing repairs.
  • •Experience with Husky Injection machines preferred and blow mold experience with Sidel and/or Krones preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic controls, including troubleshooting with schematics.
  • •Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, sketches, layouts, and equipment manuals.
  • •Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work all shifts with required overtime.
