Staff Software Engineer - Backend Infrastructure

Own the end-to-end health of Thumbtack’s Go backend build and verification pipelines, driving improvements in performance, reliability, and flakiness. Define high-signal backend CI/CD failure visibility and debugging workflows, and enhance local development/iteration to shorten feedback loops. Establish Go platform standards and ownership boundaries, proactively improve shared Go codebases, and partner with Platform Engineering to steward shared infrastructure across the backend engineering community.
