Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead delivery of lifecycle, refurbishment, capital replacement and minor works projects across the hospital estate.
  • •Manage projects end-to-end from inception through handover, developing scopes, specifications, programmes, budgets, and resource plans.
  • •Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards, managing risks, opportunities, dependencies, and change control.
  • •Provide technical oversight and assurance: review contractor proposals, ensure compliance with legislation and healthcare guidance, and coordinate technical specialists.
  • •Manage health, safety, and compliance activities (including CDM duty holder responsibilities), and coordinate HAI-SCRIBE/infection prevention requirements where applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree, HND or equivalent technical qualification OR significant demonstrable experience delivering construction, lifecycle, or capital projects.
  • •Proven experience managing multiple construction, engineering, lifecycle, or capital projects.
  • •Experience working within operational healthcare, PFI, FM, or critical infrastructure environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and health and safety legislation.
  • •Experience with project governance, change control, risk management, and contractor/supplier management.
