Job Summary

Support ground support equipment (GSE) and instrumentation for engine and structural test stand programs by building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems tied to liquid oxygen (LOX) and site facilities. Operate and repair high-pressure hardware and pneumatic components, fabricate and repair GSE equipment, and ensure materials meet Clean for Oxygen Service Standards. Collaborate with design engineers, follow quality and safety procedures, and help streamline testing reliability across the site.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide GSE technician support: build, install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment such as pumps, tanks, valves, and related plumbing for LOX and site facilities.
•Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation as needed.
•Operate and maintain hardware including high-pressure systems and pumps, plus pneumatic components.
•Fabricate and repair GSE hardware and equipment; build and maintain structural and engine test equipment.
•Follow quality and safety procedures, ensure materials are clean per Clean for Oxygen Service Standards, and develop ways to streamline testing reliability.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
•2+ years of industrial experience installing pipe/components, bending stainless tubes, or working around high-pressure or mechanical systems.
•Experience in the space exploration industry, military, or other high-reliability operating environments.
•Mechanical aptitude and experience working with machines and general tooling, including formalized mechanical training and hand/power tool usage.
•Knowledge and safe handling of hazardous/high-pressure systems, including experience with test instrumentation and the ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
