•Develop, maintain, interpret, and modify structural and payload system or MGSE component designs using 3-D CAD tools.
•Understand GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5M) and validate/verify systems and components against requirements and specifications.
•Manage supplier development and coordinate test and production activities to optimize design and meet program goals.
•Develop new design and analysis processes and tools to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.
•Provide engineering support during fabrication, integration, and test of structure products at suppliers and in-house, including tooling and equipment integration workflows.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences), plus composite materials experience such as honeycomb sandwich panels and carbon fiber layups.
