Key Responsibilities

  • •Own electromechanical integration and packaging for EO, OE, photonic, and RF modules, including electrical structures, interconnects, thermal systems, and enclosures.
  • •Design and integrate transmission lines, interposers, PCBs, connectors, flex circuits, and related interconnect technologies; co-design layouts for alignment, thermal performance, and signal integrity.
  • •Develop and execute electrical test plans (continuity, functional, S-parameter characterization) and build data acquisition/automation tools using Python.
  • •Build and qualify test fixtures/jigs and automated measurement systems; support troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.
  • •Drive manufacturing transfer by building component libraries, authoring assembly procedures/work instructions, supporting qualification/reliability standards, and improving yield/reliability/cost through DFM and production support.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •2+ years of relevant industry experience in electromechanical product development.
  • •Experience integrating PCBs, interconnects, packaging, and mechanical structures into manufacturable hardware.
  • •Experience with PCB design/layout using EDA tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, or equivalents.
  • •Proficiency with SolidWorks and Python (or similar) for automation, data analysis, and process control, plus hands-on hardware lab experience.
