Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and guide the applied science team to apply agile practice for data science, and partner with product managers, software engineers, and operations teams to brainstorm, design and develop AI products and features from inception to production.
  • •Hands-on development, productionization, and operation of ML models and pipelines at scale, including batch and real-time use cases.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for business impact, refine requirements for ML, and drive engineering decisions.
  • •Leverage third-party and in-house ML tools and infrastructure to develop reusable, high-performing ML systems with low-latency serving and maintainability.
  • •Drive architecture and testing frameworks for agent behavior validation and continuous improvement in ML infrastructures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 244,000 - 305,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field.
  • •10+ years of experience in building, testing and shipping AI models and products from inception to production; including 2+ years of experience with GenAI.
  • •5+ years experience leading and guiding applied science / machine learning teams that deliver large impact as a senior IC.
  • •Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with ML best practices (training/serving skew minimization, A/B test, feature engineering, feature/model selection), algorithms (neural networks/deep learning, optimization) and domains (NLP, computer vision, personalization, search and recommendation, marketplace optimization, anomaly detection)
  • •Experience with AI technologies in customer support applications and agile AI production lifecycle
