Job Summary

Leverage real electricity market and trading experience to help customers get maximum value from Powerline’s analytics suite across the customer lifecycle. You’ll work directly with traders, asset operators, and developers to analyze market outcomes, recommend trading/operational improvements, and support implementations. Partner with engineering to translate customer workflows into product requirements, enhancing dashboards, simulations, forecasting models, and optimization algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage customers’ experience and use of the suite across pre-sales, implementation, and ongoing technical account management.
•Provide technical preparation for sales, lead customer implementations, and support ongoing operations.
•Analyze trading outcomes and asset performance across electricity markets, identifying opportunities to improve revenue via strategies, forecasting, and operational decisions.
•Deliver actionable recommendations and insights on market dynamics and emerging opportunities in wholesale electricity markets.
•Collaborate with engineering to improve dashboards and analytics, provide feedback on simulations/forecasting/optimization, and translate trading workflows into product requirements.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Experience in Great Britain (NESO, EPEX, etc.) and/or other European energy markets, ideally in spot analysis/trading, asset optimisation, or control room operations.
•Strong understanding of power market fundamentals including dispatch dynamics, bidding strategies, and revenue drivers for energy assets.
•Experience analyzing large energy datasets to extract insights for trading, operational, or commercial decisions.
•Comfort working with data analysis using SQL, Python, or similar analytics tools.
•Ability to communicate complex market insights to technical and non-technical audiences with strong critical thinking and analytical rigor.
