Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and direct the finance function for GSC Sri Lanka, ensuring best practice, consistency, and internal control standards.
  • •Provide timely MI performance review and analysis, deliver insightful financial analysis for decision-making, and support FRP for the entity.
  • •Lead governance and oversight including internal/external audit implementations, compliance policy application, and operational risk management.
  • •Oversee treasury management (finance requirements, accounts receivable collection, cash/funds management, foreign currency exposure).
  • •Lead finance leadership and team management, including motivating staff, performance management, and coordination of key stakeholder relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Plan and direct the finance function for GSC Sri Lanka while ensuring HSBC internal control standards and compliance.
  • •10+ years of finance experience, including 5 years of management experience in a finance/accounting role.
  • •Strong knowledge of financial analysis plus experience across general ledger, fixed assets, accounts receivable, treasury management, and tax.
  • •Relevant accounting qualification and certifications: University degree in accountancy and CIMA, CMA, ACCA, or CICPA.
  • •Manage a team and demonstrate strong leadership, influencing, negotiation, and organizational skills in a high-pressure environment.
