Key Responsibilities

•Drive the EDU-to-EMD transition by overseeing the deployment and testing of EDU builds to readiness for field testing and demonstration of system capability and performance
•Lead the Design Verification Testing (DVT) campaign to environmentally test and qualify the system
•Prepare for major program milestones by authoring technical documentation, defining verification matrices, and leading systems-level preparation for upcoming CDRs and MRRs
•Scale production by collaborating with manufacturing and hardware teams to implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and increase production from a few units per year to tens of systems per month
•Architect, design, and ruggedize manufacturing test equipment to improve efficiency, throughput, and reliability on the production floor

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 143,000 - 191,000 annually

Key Requirements

•EO/Ladar domain expertise with 5+ years hardware-centric systems engineering experience (EO, Ladar/Lidar, or high-precision pointing)
•Development-to-production experience transitioning complex multidisciplinary systems from low TRL to production-ready status
•Strong familiarity with design verification testing (DVT), environmental qualification, field testing operations
•Practical knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM), test equipment ruggedization, and test process optimization/automation
•Experience leading or heavily contributing to systems engineering reviews such as CDR, MRR, or PRR
