Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the successful delivery of medium to large projects across the full lifecycle, from inception and business case through design, procurement, site delivery, commissioning, and defects management.
  • •Lead Project Management commissions by taking responsibility for delivery outcomes and providing supervision, training oversight, and motivation of Project Managers and junior staff.
  • •Manage project management team outputs against agreed timescales and quality standards, coordinate internal project team meetings, and ensure management information is signed off before issue.
  • •Lead key delivery activities including management of design, tender documents, appraisals, negotiations, and the formulation and management of construction contracts.
  • •Manage project finances, resourcing, audits, and reviews for a portfolio; serve as the main client interface and support business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional qualified, ideally with a Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying degree.
  • •Chartered status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or equivalent institution.
  • •Proven consultancy experience and strong understanding of different parties in construction projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Proven sector experience, preferably in Healthcare, Life Science, Tertiary Education, or Defence construction.
  • •Excellent understanding of construction contracts, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and statutory compliance.
