Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide full operational, financial, and educational oversight for the secondary school.
  • •Contribute to strategic direction of the academy and lead the next phase of secondary school growth.
  • •Ensure highest standards of student achievement and student behaviour, supported by robust quality assurance.
  • •Use data-informed self-evaluation and self-reflection to drive continuous school improvement.
  • •Ensure high-quality professional learning for staff with impact on school improvement and student outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a BEd and have PGCE/PGDE or equivalent, plus a proven record of outstanding teaching.
  • •A Master’s in Education (leadership) and/or NPQH is preferred.
  • •Significant experience in a leadership role within a secondary school with evidence of sustained improvement.
  • •In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and its implementation.
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, staff, and parents and engage a diverse school community.
