Job Summary

Operate and monitor quarry and rock/sand/gravel plant equipment to batch, crush, and sort materials for construction projects. Control machinery from the panelboard, observe gauges to maintain quality and safety, keep the worksite clean, and assist with routine maintenance and repairs using hand/power tools and welding equipment. Support team members through training and general labor duties while strictly following OSHA/MSHA standards and PPE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and monitor quarry plant equipment to batch, crush, and sort materials.
•Control machinery from the panelboard to keep feeding, crushing, and sifting processes running smoothly.
•Observe gauges and machinery to uphold quality and safety standards.
•Keep the worksite and plant clean, organized, and safe; maintain routine plant equipment and report major issues to supervisors.
•Assist with repairs as needed and mentor/train newer team members while performing general labor duties.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Valid Driver’s License; Class A or B CDL preferred, with a clean driving record.
•At least 2 years’ related experience preferred; training available for motivated individuals.
•18 years of age or older, with ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
•Valid DOT medical card (or willingness to obtain one) and strict adherence to safety rules and PPE.
