Key Responsibilities

  • •Escort adults, children, and young people to court, supporting their welfare in custody and ensuring safe return or release.
  • •Attend briefings, receive route and detainee details, carry out risk assessments, and complete vehicle checks.
  • •Liaise with court staff, supervise detainees at court, and manage a range of situations including vulnerable individuals.
  • •Support and engage young detainees while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • •Return or hand over detainees and complete required checks and paperwork.
