Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and build highly scalable, low-latency distributed search systems for indexing and retrieval.
  • •Design and optimize large-scale indexing pipelines and hybrid retrieval (keyword + vector + LLM reranking).
  • •Develop backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring, owning microservice end-to-end lifecycle (design to operations).
  • •Build real-time and batch data pipelines using streaming frameworks and design event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka.
  • •Improve relevance, ranking quality, and system reliability using ML/NLP and LTR techniques; define quality metrics and experimentation strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • •8+ years of backend or distributed systems development experience.
  • •5+ years hands-on experience with large-scale data processing or streaming systems.
  • •Expert-level knowledge of Java (Java 11/17+) and the Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Security, Retry).
  • •Strong experience with search technologies such as Solr/Elasticsearch/OpenSearch/Lucene and hybrid retrieval concepts.
