Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform fabrication, cutting, bending, and welding of metal components in the workshop per engineering drawings and specifications.
  • •Manufacture and repair mine-site components such as chutes, hoppers, brackets, guards, pipes, and structural frames.
  • •Operate workshop tools and machinery including cutting torches, grinders, welding machines, guillotines, and hydraulic presses.
  • •Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to dimensional tolerances and material specifications.
  • •Complete job cards and fabrication/material usage records and follow HSE policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Craft or Advanced Certificate in Boilermaking or Metal Fabrication.
  • •Minimum 3 years’ experience in a workshop setting, preferably in mining or heavy industrial.
  • •Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding processes.
  • •Skilled in using fabrication tools and workshop equipment.
  • •Ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
