Key Responsibilities

  • •Demonstrate continuous leadership in Safety, Integrity, and Quality and drive toward zero incidents.
  • •Support product quality and customer service by coordinating closely with Quality Control Manager and QC staff.
  • •Serve as leader for TNJ Asphalt operations: plan and implement operational changes based on plant performance and sales demand.
  • •Issue daily work assignments, verify associate training and equipment requirements, and complete daily operational reporting.
  • •Act as liaison between regulatory inspectors and management; analyze monthly variable costs and support budgeting/capital projects.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA in Civil Engineering or practical work experience, plus 10+ years experience.
  • •At least 5 years of experience in asphalt operations and a leadership role.
  • •Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • •Working knowledge of asphalt plant operating procedures and basic asphalt plant mechanics.
  • •Must possess a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to the job site.
