Key Responsibilities

  • •AI Solutions Design & Integration: design and integrate AI/ML models into Building Management Systems and Industrial Control Systems, including SCADA and PLC environments; implement real-time API-based and batch-inference workflows.
  • •Data Engineering: partner with data engineering on ETL workflows and data preparation for large-scale building/industrial datasets; contribute to feature engineering and data readiness; support training pipelines using model registries/tracking systems.
  • •Innovation & Research: explore generative AI, digital twins, multimodal foundation models and autonomous control systems; lead POCs and mentor junior engineers; translate concepts into practical automation/building intelligence solutions.
  • •Performance Optimization: collaborate with MLOps to optimize real-time inference across platforms; work with inference runtimes (e.g., ONNX Runtime, NVIDIA Triton); contribute to model conversion/quantization and deployment strategies.
  • •Compliance & Security: ensure AI solutions comply with cybersecurity standards and industrial safety protocols; maintain training and inference repositories to meet security requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have: Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, XGBoost, scikit‑learn); Experience with Kubernetes, Databricks or comparable platforms; Familiarity with CI/CD for AI/ML; PySpark for data exploration; Strong debugging and performance engineering in Python.
  • •Must have: Expertise in NLP, time-series forecasting, computer vision, or reinforcement learning; ability to work with noisy or sparsely labeled datasets; experience with MLflow or similar; knowledge of TorchScript/ONNX; model performance optimization (quantization, latency tuning); experience applying fine-tuning and optimization of foundation models.
  • •Must have: Ability to identify emerging AI trends, rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept development and technology scouting; strong problem-solving mindset for creative, disruptive solutions.
  • •Must have: Knowledge of AI/ML offerings from Azure, GCP or AWS; experience deploying AI/ML on edge devices (preferred).
  • •Must have: Bachelor’s in CS/EE or related field; Master’s preferred; 6 years of AI/ML experience or PhD + 2 years.
