Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement works council strategies and initiatives, including communication strategies.
  • •Build partnerships with works council and lead/support key negotiations and document/report preparation to communicate employee concerns.
  • •Advise business leaders and HRBPs on works council and co-determination issues, handling questions of co-determination and labor law.
  • •Coordinate with global cross-functional teams and act as EMEA coordinator for global/regional HR projects related to works councils.
  • •Manage day-to-day works council operations, including staff measures across sites and processing daily works council queries and information requests.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of HR experience, including working with local work councils in Germany.
  • •Strong communication, negotiation, mediation, and strategic writing skills.
  • •Ability to manage conflict and adapt in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
  • •Desirable experience in employment law or employee/industrial relations, especially work council matters.
