•Provide technical direction to deliver complex flood risk modelling projects with national project teams.
•Lead or verify hydraulic modelling projects for flood alleviation schemes and EA flood maps.
•Review or verify technical reports on model builds and associated uncertainties.
•Lead proposals for innovative one-off projects and large framework contracts.
•Mentor staff, build client relationships, share policy updates, and drive innovation (including AI) within the team.

Key Requirements

•15+ years of experience in hydraulic and modelling software (Flood Modeller, InfoWorks ICM and/or TUFLOW).
•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline.
•Chartered member of ICE or CIWEM.
•Strong GIS skills using QGIS, ArcGIS and/or MapInfo.
•Experience with flood risk modelling and understanding Environment Agency requirements.
