Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform connector terminations for shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
  • •Seal, wrap, bond, tie, and close wire harnesses and cables following standard processes.
  • •Diagnose and correct malfunctions occurring during assembly processes, including electrical and comms/nav-systems.
  • •Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to execute electrical modifications and repairs.
  • •Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level modification and repair, completing assembly/installation, visual inspection, operational and quality checks of aircraft.

Key Requirements

  • •9+ years of experience maintaining avionics and/or electronic equipment (e.g., comm/nav, data links, weapons, radar, electronic warfare).
  • •9+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, material processes, schematics, and diagrams.
  • •9+ years installing/maintaining software, media, and file commands to operate newly installed systems.
  • •9+ years repairing, modifying, testing, and troubleshooting component and wire installation for new, experimental, and disturbed systems.
