Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, capture schematics, prototype, and support layout for microcontroller/microprocessor-based PWB/PWA designs from concept through production.
  • •Develop complex embedded systems integrating mixed-signal design, high-speed interfaces, power supplies, and cross-domain integration across hardware, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing.
  • •Participate in system architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical tradeoff evaluations to support manufacturable product designs.
  • •Develop or support firmware and/or FPGA designs, including board bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
  • •Test and verify designs, create/execute validation test plans and test fixtures, and lead or support transition into production while qualifying products to UL, FCC, and CE standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • •5+ years of embedded hardware design experience, including PWB/PWA design, schematic capture, layout support, and board bring-up.
  • •Independently design, bring up, debug, and deliver embedded hardware systems, printed wiring assemblies, or major electrical subsystems.
  • •Strong analog and digital circuit design experience, including DC/DC power supplies, mixed-signal circuits, and interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, and USB.
  • •Experience developing in C/C++ and/or VHDL or Verilog, and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, lab, product, and manufacturing teams.
