Lead trade operations for import transactions, ensuring all processing follows SOP/OPM and international rules (UCP/ISBP/ISP). Perform sanction checking, manage commodity trade documentation, and authorize/input transactions while preparing SWIFT messages for relevant instruments. Drive customer service quality by closing errors and reconciliation gaps, minimizing revenue leakage, and collaborating with onshore teams to deliver seamlessly. Support automation and handle ad-hoc tasks from the team head.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure trade processing is completed per SOP/OPM and UCP/ISBP/ISP, including charges recovery.
•Perform sanction checking, handle commodity trade operations documents, and authorize/input transactions into the system.
•Prepare and authorize relevant SWIFT messages for import LG issuance/amendments/cancellation and similar stages for standby letters of credits/claims.
•Maintain control over reconciliation and revenue by ensuring no outstanding Nostro/Internal entries and no revenue leakage due to charges collection misses.
•Support team execution by sharing knowledge gaps, managing audit observations, and collaborating with onshore units; also contribute to automation initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree.
•At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in India trade operations.
•Expert-level knowledge of Letters of Guarantee and Letters of Credit.
•Expert-level knowledge of accounting entries and UATs, including amortization principles.
•Good communication skills with team management and interpersonal skills.
