Key Responsibilities

  • •Process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll cycles accurately and on schedule, including salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and settlements.
  • •Manage employee payroll transactions (hiring, terminations, promotions, salary changes) and respond to payroll inquiries.
  • •Ensure compliance with Mexican payroll regulations and file statutory reports with IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT, and ISR; monitor regulatory changes.
  • •Generate payroll journals, reporting packages, and month-end reconciliations; support audits with required documentation.
  • •Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and service quality; drive process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • •Have 3–5 years of payroll processing experience in Mexico.
  • •Strong knowledge of Mexican Labor Law (Ley Federal del Trabajo), IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT and ISR tax regulations.
  • •Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, SAP, UKG, Oracle, Workday, or local Mexican payroll platforms.
