Job Summary

Develop and integrate test hardware and software for requirements through build, integration, and deployment to manufacturing or customer facilities. Lead multi-disciplined program execution and manage schedule, deviations, and technical progress. Support proposals/bidding, apply computer architecture and communications protocol knowledge, and use NI TestStand and LabVIEW/LabWindows(CVI) to build software integration. Provide on-site troubleshooting and training while partnering with mechanical engineering on adapters and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop test hardware and software from requirements through build, integration, and deployment to manufacturing or customer facilities.
•Lead multi-disciplined team execution, including scheduling, tracking, and managing deviations from plan to actual.
•Apply knowledge of computer architecture, COTS equipment, interconnects/interfaces, and standard communication protocols.
•Integrate and develop software using tools including NI TestStand and LabVIEW/LabWindows(CVI).
•Support manufacturing operations with on-site troubleshooting, debugging, and collaboration with production and design engineering teams.

Key Requirements

•Obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government security clearance.
•Typically a STEM degree with 8+ years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
•8+ years engineering design and development experience, with leadership experience, preferably for test equipment development.
•Experience working in an engineering laboratory and transitioning automated solutions to production environments with on-site operator training.
•Experience developing test hardware/software and integrating deployments to manufacturing or customer facilities.
