Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive the architecture roadmap for cloud-based, connected life safety software platforms.
  • •Lead architecture decisions across SaaS applications, microservices, APIs, IoT device connectivity, data pipelines, and platform integrations.
  • •Partner with product, engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and business teams to translate business priorities into scalable technical solutions.
  • •Establish architecture patterns, design principles, reusable components, and governance practices across multiple engineering teams.
  • •Drive modernization of legacy systems and improve reliability, performance, observability, uptime, and disaster recovery; support platform evolution toward AI capabilities.
  • •Mentor senior engineers and architects and review major designs to identify architecture risks and guide scalable solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • •12+ years of software engineering experience with significant architecture leadership experience.
  • •Strong experience designing and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms.
  • •Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • •Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns.
