Key Responsibilities

  • •Process and review IRA distributions to ensure proper documentation and correct IRA codes for tax reporting.
  • •Process IRA contributions by reviewing transactions and exception reports to ensure compliance with IRS contribution limits.
  • •Review and process IRA transfers and rollovers, including non-automated (ACAT) requests with external firms and follow-up.
  • •Handle deceased account processing by reviewing death certificates/beneficiaries, determining payout options, and collaborating to complete documents.
  • •Process complex IRA transactions such as Roth conversions, excess contribution removals, recharacterizations, 72(t) calculations/projections, and review QDRO/divorce decree for impacts on accounts.
