Job Summary

Operate counterbalance FLT trucks in a busy yard to support production and haulier operations. Load and unload HGVs, move pallet stacks, and direct visiting vehicles during loading/unloading. Maintain smooth flow on production lines within agreed SLAs, handle safe stock rotation, and promptly report any damage or operational issues. Assist with inspection and minor repair of yard equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate FLT trucks to support production and haulier operations.
•Direct visiting vehicles during loading and unloading.
•Maintain smooth flow on production lines within agreed SLAs.
•Assist with manual inspection and repair of yard equipment.
•Handle and rotate stock safely and efficiently; report damage or operational issues promptly.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a counterbalance FLT driver in a busy yard environment, including HGV loading preferred.
•External FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR) ideal; in-house licences considered.
•Experience with double/triple fork FLTs (advantage).
•Safety-conscious and reliable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
