Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support and leadership across design, engineering, and commissioning of utility-scale SCADA projects.
  • •Coordinate, review, and approve electrical infrastructure design plans for mid-level and complex projects, ensuring code compliance and data integrity.
  • •Prepare points lists, develop HMI screens, assign/program data addressing and routing, and travel to test and commission data transfer schemes.
  • •Design and configure network and communication paths for RTUs, Data Concentrators, IEDs, HMIs, and SCADA equipment; troubleshoot and commission communications systems.
  • •Develop and implement logic and control schemes for remote/local operation of power system equipment, including travel to test and commission control strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •12+ years of post-education experience providing SCADA project design deliverables for power generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • •Advanced electrical engineering proficiency, including permitting/project work and QA/QC adherence.
  • •Experience works independently and provides guidance and leadership to mid-level to senior project/team members.
  • •Occasional travel may be required; track record upholding workplace safety and policy compliance.
