•With minimal supervision, complete field inspections and related tasks such as reading maps/aerial photos, measuring fields, and assessing crop loss findings.
•Convey complex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry contacts for claim situations.
•Perform fact finding on crop damage, record evidence, and transmit loss information to determine potential indemnities.
•Gather relevant facts using applicable law and establish basic principles of negligence.
•Complete claim reviews and audits on lower-level adjusters and maintain compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Key Requirements

•Must be able to perform field inspections and related crop-loss measurements (fields, storage bins) as part of claim work.

•Performs fact finding on crop damage, records information, and transmits loss information to support indemnity determinations.
•High School Diploma or equivalent plus relevant experience level by role (Field Adjuster I: 6+ months agriculture; II: 2+ years crop insurance/claims adjusting; Specialist: 4+ years agriculture/crop insurance).
•Obtain/maintain Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification and hold a valid driver’s license; meet physical requirements for outdoor work, lifting, and climbing storage bins.
