Job Summary

Support mission-critical data centers by commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up advanced HVAC and chiller systems at customer sites. Diagnose issues using blueprints and engineering specifications, coordinate with service leaders and project managers, and help eliminate downtime in high-stress situations. Provide customer-facing ownership of chiller equipment on assigned projects, maintain safety and asset accountability, and coach less experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with service leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and take responsibility for chiller products/equipment on assigned projects, diagnosing and repairing systems to ensure customer satisfaction.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays and required overnight travel.
•Ensure safety standards and asset accountability by recording use, wear, and conditions; support mission-critical activities and provide coaching/training as required.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
•5+ years of experience in HVAC with systems-level expertise.
•Proven experience performing start-up of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, including commissioning procedures and verification checks.
•EPA Certification required.
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
