Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support for utility design projects including treatment plants, pump/booster stations, water and collection line design, rehabilitation, master planning, and construction administration.
  • •Create engineering designs and deliverables such as drawings, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
  • •Work under supervision of senior project managers or senior team members while handling routine or detailed engineering assignments and analyses.
  • •Perform data gathering and field activities including site investigations, field measurements, mapping, and construction observations.
  • •Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations/drawings and support compliance by interpreting data against relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline plus 4 years of related experience (or equivalency).
  • •2+ years of experience planning, modeling, and/or designing water, wastewater, and stormwater utility projects.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PE licensure within one year of employment.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License and the ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review.
  • •Ability to work independently and under supervision while producing routine or detailed engineering calculations and analyses.
