Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal advice across the employment lifecycle, including hiring, compensation, performance management, accommodations, leaves of absence, discipline/terminations, restrictive covenants, and harassment/discrimination/retaliation matters.
  • •Advise HR and Employee Relations teams on complex workforce matters and provide guidance on internal investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and ethics/compliance concerns.
  • •Manage employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings, including directing outside counsel, overseeing legal budgets, and developing litigation strategy and settlement recommendations.
  • •Monitor employment law developments and draft/update employment policies, procedures, and employee communications; advise on pay transparency, AI in employment, wage and hour compliance, workplace accommodations, data privacy, and whistleblower protections.
  • •Support strategic workforce initiatives (reorganizations, RIFs, acquisitions, integrations) and develop executive employment matters, severance arrangements, and retention programs; deliver employment law training for managers and HR.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active state bar membership in good standing.
  • •10+ years of employment law experience.
  • •Significant experience in employment litigation and employment relations counseling.
  • •Significant experience conducting internal investigations and advising on employment law compliance.
  • •Experience supporting large, complex organizations and advising senior executives and HR leadership teams.
