Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, maintain, repair, and test residential/small business telecommunication and broadband services, including copper and fiber.
  • •Enable wireless/wired networking on company-approved modems/routers and connect cables/wires to terminals and equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot basic technical problems and perform continuity and/or conformance testing using test equipment and coordinated testing.
  • •Read and interpret customer service orders, repair tickets, and technical drawings/maps/blueprints/diagrams to perform specified work.
  • •Interact with customers professionally, review trouble/service orders and billing information, and identify additional revenue opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be able to work varying shifts and hours, including possible mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays.

  • •Experience or basic skills in telecom, electrical, low voltage, or HVAC, including cable locating.
