Key Responsibilities

•Perform installation tasks including cable pulls/terminations, system equipment and components setup, and rack fabrication/wiring layouts.
•Lead and direct installation crews on larger, more complex projects while coordinating and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
•Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints; verify quality of work.
•Test point-to-point cabling and verify system functionality, supporting engineers/programmers with minor programming changes as needed.
•Act as a customer liaison on site, handle change requests with the Project Manager, coordinate with other trades, and provide client training as needed.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 4–6 years of audiovisual/electronics installation experience.
•Advanced knowledge installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (e.g., HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic), including conduit runs and cable trays.
•Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints and use hand/power tools safely.
•Advanced understanding of audio-visual systems and how network infrastructure integrates with AV systems (e.g., IP-based, streaming, cloud-based services).
•Valid and current AVIXA CTS General Certification required, plus a valid driver’s license and an MVR meeting AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards.
