Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure aircraft documentation is up to date and the As-Built status aligns with the Target Configuration, including ABCL, FTPs, C of C’s, ECS, TLB, and QLB.
  • •Issue the Aircraft Statement of Conformity and/or Transport Canada export airworthiness certificate, and transmit related certification files.
  • •Maintain Transport Canada embossing seal and stamps per TCCA regulation and support FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative activities for FAA certificates of airworthiness.
  • •Investigate and resolve conformity discrepancies at aircraft level in coordination with internal and external contacts (Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, IT).
  • •Attend status meetings, represent the Conformity Department, and collect/review/file documentation to support aircraft build and sale.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 10 years of aeronautical experience across production, maintenance, and engineering, including practical experience in Transport Canada airworthiness certification and FAA regulatory requirements.
  • •Hold an AME M2 or E license or an FAA A&P license.
  • •Strong knowledge of configuration management rules and aviation regulations (including TCCA CAR 561 and the company production organization manual).
  • •Competence to understand company conformity attestation processes and the link between regulations, standards, and company directives.
  • •Ability to read/write/speak English and communicate complex issues to coordinate resolutions effectively.
