Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections, including follow-up repairs, for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment systems (electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials).
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and determine accurate information for repair decisions.
  • •Maintain parts inventory and company tools/equipment on the service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Complete DOT forms and Repair Orders, documenting work and uploading required photos using company standards and systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (or equivalent combination such as 5 years’ related experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Must possess and supply a set of hand tools required for the role.
  • •Must complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
  • •Current valid DOT medical card (or comply with DOT physical requirements based on remaining validity).
