Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance such as oil, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush, and inspections for mechanical deficiencies.
  • •Based on certification levels, perform repairs and maintenance including diagnostics on OBD II systems, brakes, tires, tune-ups, suspension, electrical systems, and State Safety Inspections.
  • •Conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics and handle a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs across systems including emissions, steering/suspension, maintenance services, major engine, and hydraulics.
  • •Keep the shop area clean and perform work according to safety standards; dispose of fluids in accordance with regulations; create and maintain vehicle maintenance records.
  • •Interface and coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs, provide roadside assistance as needed, and perform moderate design/fabrication tasks including welding when required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related work experience servicing vehicles instead of the degree).
  • •3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
  • •Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.

  • •Diesel diagnostic experience (preferred).
