Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform senior-level developmental flight test engineering for the Fury UAS, including resource planning, conducting ground and flight test, initial issue investigation, and process improvement.
  • •Lead and/or support flight test teams and multidisciplinary partners to execute ground and flight test events at private and government-owned test ranges.
  • •Collect test data and perform initial data analysis for the system under test.
  • •Partner with Engineering to develop requirements and discuss test results, including data and observations.
  • •Work safely in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years as a test conductor/director for developmental aircraft, weapons, or missile systems.
  • •Extensive test engineering experience for developmental manned and/or unmanned aircraft, including requirements development, test planning and execution, and test reporting.
  • •Experience with aero/performance, loads/dynamics, propulsion, or electrical test engineering for developmental systems.
  • •Strong understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory, with broad application and continued expansion in related specialties.
  • •Working knowledge of standards including MIL-STD-882E, MIL-STD-516C, MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, AS5653, and UAS operating rules/National Airspace System concepts.
