Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and productionalize deep neural ranking models end-to-end, including offline experimentation, evaluation, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
  • •Leverage agentic/LLM-driven development to accelerate experimentation and advance Learning to Rank architectures via automated overnight pipelines.
  • •Drive feature engineering and model architecture innovation using ranking signals, feature stores, and embedding-based retrieval to improve ranker quality.
  • •Ensure production reliability by monitoring model health (drift, latency, and feature pipeline integrity) and acting quickly when signals deviate.
  • •Collaborate across teams to deliver improvements and mentor junior/mid data scientists while raising experimentation and code-quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer in high-traffic production ML environments.
  • •Master’s degree (or Bachelor's with 6+ years) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
  • •Production-proven deep learning ranking and Learning to Rank experience (DCN-V2, MMoE, Two-Tower) plus offline evaluation metrics like NDCG and MRR.
  • •Experience with LLM coding agents/agentic CLI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini) and the auto-research paradigm for autonomous experimentation.
  • •Strong MLOps and ML lifecycle expertise using Python ML ecosystems, SQL/dbt, cloud (GCP or AWS), big-data tools (PySpark, Scala), and model monitoring/drift detection practices.
