Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead architectural design and deployment of high-performance, secure data movement solutions in a regulated financial environment.
  • •Act as technical lead for complex, high-impact incidents impacting data pipelines, driving root-cause analysis to prevent systemic failures.
  • •Ensure security and governance for sensitive data, including encryption, access controls, and compliance across the data lifecycle.
  • •Develop automation and monitoring to provide end-to-end visibility and reduce manual operational toil.
  • •Proactively analyze and tune performance of data movement jobs and underlying AWS infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Key Requirements

  • •Background in platform engineering, site reliability (SRE), or data operations in a large-scale or regulated environment.
  • •Strong working knowledge of AWS and cloud-first data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Glue, or EMR.
  • •Understanding of compliance and security for sensitive data pipelines across the data lifecycle.
  • •Comfort using Python and Shell scripting to automate operational tasks and manage dependencies in batch environments.
  • •Ability to mentor others and coordinate with distributed onsite/offshore teams while explaining technical concepts to stakeholders.
