Key Responsibilities

  • •Read, review, and understand financial statements (e.g., tax returns, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, agings, borrowing base certificates, debt schedules, credit bureau reports, rent rolls, lease agreements, and appraisals).
  • •Prepare financial spreads for commercial, real estate, municipal, nonprofit, and individual borrowers/guarantors.
  • •Analyze creditworthiness by reviewing loan applications, spreading historical and projection-based statements, calculating cash flows, leverage and liquidity ratios, evaluating collateral, researching borrowers and industries, and identifying risks.
  • •Author comprehensive credit analysis reports using data analysis and written narrative, and suggest appropriate risk ratings and credit structures.
  • •Ensure compliance with federal regulations and FIB credit policy, support quarterly monitoring and covenant testing, and participate in quality control, training materials, and mentorship.
